Olivia Taurel-Ashby, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and clinician at Rappore, a therapy services and medication management practice based in Manhattan, New York. She has a passion for providing therapy to individuals struggling with mood disorders, personality disorders, substance abuse, and psychosis.

Olivia began her education at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in sociology and international studies, with a minor in Portuguese. She later earned her Master of Social Work with a concentration in advanced clinical social work practice at Columbia University in New York, New York. 

During this time, Olivia completed an internship with the Dominican Women’s Development Center in New York City. Following this, she served as an intern for ACT Institute at New York State Psychiatric Institute and NYC Counseling in New York City.

After this, Olivia served as a clinician for The Guidance Center of Westchester in New Rochelle, New York. Here, she provided individual and group therapy for a socioeconomically and culturally diverse population of children and adults, emphasizing psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy skills.

In her free time, she enjoys practicing French, Spanish, and Portuguese, as well as staying up to date on the most recent mental health care practices.
