Blaise Jacobson, LMSW, is a licensed master social worker and an integral member of the clinical team at Rappore, a therapy services and medication management practice based in Manhattan, New York.
Blaise’s “why” for becoming a therapist is that she believes everyone deserves a safe, friendly, and warm environment to decompress and find clarity.
Blaise’s patience and empathy allow her to listen deeply and guide a gentle and honest conversation. Her goal as a therapist is to assist each client in developing coping mechanisms, effective communication skills, and a greater sense of self-confidence to utilize outside the therapy walls.
Blaise earned her Master's in Social Work from the Fordham University Graduate School of Social Services. With experience working in residential care and community mental health clinics, she works with young adults and adults. Approaching each session with a CBT framework and a strengths-based perspective, she specializes in treating mood disorders, PTSD, life transitions, relationships and familial conflict, and building self-esteem.
